VMware announces intent to acquire VeloCloud with eye on improving software defined future

VMware Inc. announced on Thursday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire VeloCloud Networks, provider of cloud-delivered software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) technology for enterprises and service providers.
